Remember the CalCars idea to prepay auto companies for a plug in hybrid? It's back and the price for entry has dropped from from $10,000 to $1,000. Speaking of back, the opening of the plant that was supposed to build the engines for the Chevy Volt and the Cruze has been pushed back. GM says no delay in the Volt program, though. Oh, and and this is how Chrysler thinks it will beat the Volt.
